Our biodiesel: high-quality, cost-effective and sustainable
Our signature blend of biodiesel is tried and tested to ensure compatibility with diesel engines. Better still, it’s locally produced clean green fuel that has already added significant value to the community where we sourced the cooking oil it came from…
SABS-certified and OEM-compatible
Our B100 biodiesel is developed to meet the South African Bureau of Standards (SABS) specifications, ensuring high performance, reliability and safety across different Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).
It can be used in diesel engines without modification, making it a seamless alternative for businesses and individuals looking to transition to clean energy solutions.
Blending flexibility
Our biodiesel can be blended with traditional diesel to specific B5, B10, B20 and higher blends, allowing your business to transition at your own pace while achieving cost savings and emission reductions. These flexible blends ensure that fuel meets the operational and regulatory requirements of different industries.
Cost benefits
Switching to INO-Biodiesel’s B100 biodiesel or blended fuels can deliver significant cost savings by reducing fuel expenses, extending engine life and decreasing maintenance costs due to its cleaner combustion properties.
Your company can also benefit from our carbon credit programme – adding to your financial returns.
Direct supply and logistics
We offer direct supply options, ensuring that you receive high-quality biodiesel on time and at competitive prices. Our logistics network allows us to deliver nationwide, making it convenient for businesses in transport, mining, agriculture and manufacturing to integrate biodiesel into their operations with minimal disruption.
Our Services
Our model is built on our understanding of the unique value chain that supports biodiesel production. We partner directly with small businesses many in townships and peri-urban locations to support them by “buying back” their used cooking oil.
Waste oil collection and processing
We work with restaurants, food producers, amagwinya sellers and other businesses to collect used cooking oil, converting waste into a clean-burning, sustainable fuel.
We educate these partners on an ongoing basis to ensure the quality of oil used and received from them, adding value (apart from revenue) to their businesses.
On large-scale contacts, we can source this oil directly from your local communities, often supporting women and young community members who need it most
Biodiesel production and supply
We manufacture and distribute B100 biodiesel from our own facility in Ekurhuleni. Batches of our biodiesel are routinely quality checked and tested
Carbon credits and sustainability solutions
INO-Biodiesel provides carbon credit solutions to offset your environmental footprint. By integrating waste-to-energy innovations, we help you to meet your ESG and net-zero commitments while benefiting from carbon trading opportunities.
Fuelling the future
At INO-Biodiesel, fuelling the future means more than just producing clean energy. It means using digital innovation and inclusive economics to drive climate action and social impact.
Through our integration of technology and AI-powered waste management, we ensure traceability, transparency and efficiency in our operations while supporting local circular economies.
We also believe the digital revolution must include everyone. That’s why we champion the inclusion of women, youth, boys and girls in rural communities, equipping them with the tools and training to lead in climate-tech. By allocating a percentage of our profits to local community trusts, we ensure that the people we work with also benefit directly from our growth.
Our work extends into water and environmental research, with projects that improve access to safe, clean water in underserved areas.
Because sustainability begins at the source, we’re committed to fuelling the future by investing in people, technology and the planet, together.
Aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
